The clapper makes the music and is also the responsible for the bells’ stress.

In past centuries, bell founders learned different approaches and solutions on their waltzings. Findings were mostly empirical. The past few years have been characterized by international cooperation with universities and institutes. The research results from the Frauenhofer Institute and ECC-ProBell®, the European Competence Center for Bells in Kempten, have proofed to be of high importance.

New insights and simulation programs enable more beautiful sounds in combination with more gentle demand of the bell bronze.
